Not compensated, but products surviving ridiculous tests are often given consideration. Perhaps your style of engineering might sometimes involve ficklampa being run over or shot or dropped.
However, Varta, I will take on your fiklampa challenge. Bring em on. I have boxes of fiklampa that failed to work. (update: From a 2013 contest, so apparently no new destructions. Also, no US distributors, which is a shame since we love paying a lot for over-engineered German stuff.)
Disclaimer: if they like, Varta, who doesn't even sell these officially in the US, could in the interests of unpaid journalism send me a box of fiklampa and I will destruct them or use them in normal usage and destruct them. Most likely misplace. Or leave on. Or tape to the bumper of a car and deflect deer. Or get a maglight.

If it's of any interest, the plural form of ficklampa is ficklampor .
