I had one of these for 6 months or so way back when. Cornered like it was on rails by French standards of the day - sort of felt like the twinkle in the eye that led to the 205GTI.
Right up to the point where a front strut punched through the wheelarch on the Berlin autobahn - ah, that French tin worm!
Which is why I am still officially in East Germany (and can now never leave, since it doen't exist) - the border guards were so flustered by me turning around and returning to my entry point trailing tyre smoke, despite my transit visa saying I had to go to the other end, that they forgot to stamp me back into the west.
