So we got our first Jeep Renegade at one of the lots that I work for. It is Mojave Sand in color which, as it turns out, looks quite good in person on these. I drove it around and a few things stood out to me. Firstly, I was expecting a lot of things to be recycled from other models like switches, buttons, door handles, etc. However (moderately surprising) everything in the car seems to be Renegade exclusive as far as the Jeep family goes. And I really like that. The second surprise came in the way of headroom. I cannot believe how much area there is between my head and the roof. There is more room from the seat to the ceiling in that car than there is room between the Earth and the moon. I could sit normally in the seat which was raised slightly from its lowest setting and fully extend my arm upwards before my palm touched the roof. I am by no means a tall person at 5’7” but if you have trouble fitting in one of these, you need to be playing basketball somewhere. Another thing that I noticed is that there is much more interior room and space than I anticipated. And despite it being a very cheap vehicle, it does not feel cheap at all. Buttons, switches and knobs actually feel pretty quality which is very unusual for a cheap Jeep. The steering is VERY light and airy which I grew comfortable with very quickly. Lastly the base stereo in these isn’t nearly as bad and muddy as I thought it would be. So good job Jeep. I think you guys did well here.

I want to compare one to the Fiat 500X or 500L.

So, Fiat improved Chrysler? What does that say about Chrysler?

Well, Chrysler thought the Avenger, Caliber, Compass, and Patriot were all good ideas, so...

That they were spiraling aimlessly downwards for a long time before they got saved by our Lord and Savior, Fiat.
