Have I just found it?
Does anyone have experience with the Conquest or the Starion, I have no problem with doing a little work on it but I have no interest in buying a car that ill be able to drive for 3 months this year and have it sitting in the garage for 2 months. What do you need to look out for on these things.

Now THIS is a $3000 80s car. The only cooler 80s restore I've seen lately was the Citation X-11 that sold for like $1800 (oh, the shame of it all not being there with cash) at auction.

the one thing that confuses me is what is this "summer you speak of? i'd like something with T-tops for the summer. thats a cool looking car tho, sunroof is a plus.

Yes. Yes you have. With your username, I suggest something more COCAINE though. May I suggest this?

pretty solid rigs with a few issues IIRC, and this is going back a few years. Head can crack between the valves, and the head gaskets are slightly weak. Some electrical gremlins but nothing that will keep you from going. Rust, and make sure you service the rear end regularly
And yeah, I do love those things

Damn.
Is the budget only 3k?

Nah up to 6k or so but I have better luck finding decent new edges than a fox body with half decent paint.

Are you sure you even looked for a fox body?

Always loved the looks. Got to drive a couple way back when. (yes I'm old). I don't know where you live but other than the things already mentioned I'd rate it as poor for inclement weather driving. But they always tugged at me anyway.

Not since like February honestly, but the problem is they're all modded to hell convertibles or autos or a combo of the three. That Capri is nice though.

BUBBLE BACK
BUY THE BUBBLE!
Seriously though haha, the mods on these aren't over the top like some are and I didn't know 'Verts were out of the question.
I also didn't even click on all the options, so don't right them off.

Hell. Yes.
Blue. RWD. Turbo. Manual Gearbox.
And those beautiful stock wheels.
Damn, I want it.
It is like the occupier of the venn diagram between Toyota Supra Turbo, Fox Mustang SVO, Porsche 951 (944 Turbo), Nissan Z31 300ZX Turbo, and FC-3S RX-7 Turbo.
I wish there was that much variety for RWD 3-door fastback sport coupes on the market now...
