Today I decided to tackle the front end clunking that I hear in my Outback when going over bumps. Bought some Import Direct sway bar bushings for my front sway bar from O'Reilly Auto Parts for $14.99 and installed them (without a jack or a lift, I had barely 2 inches between my nose and the exhaust pipe). The old ones were dry rotted and worn. Installed the new ones and the body roll has been reduced as well as a reduction in clunking noises. I did, however, notice that my inner tie rod end boots are torn. How concerned should I be?
Pic isn't mine btw, it's just one I found on Google.

Lol Denver's tie rod ends on his Ranger need replacing pretty soon too. In answer to your question I have two questions:
How bad are they torn?
Are they greasable?

Definitely inner tie rod ends. They were connected to the steering rack
