That would explain why I could never get the bolt tight on my swaybar link.
That's in rather poor shape I'd say. Nothing a little rethreading and maybe a washer or two can't fix. And that actually did work and stopped my front end clunking! Yay for mending things!

It's just a swaybar link, the strut/wheel/brake is still attached to the tie-rod and strut mount. I rethreaded it and it's fine now anyway.

My tie-rods better not look like that given they're brand new all the way back to the steering rack! Then again, these aren't that old either.
