Fluffy needs a bath and a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I found a doll repair place that's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! before. { breathes } I hope they don't think I'm nuts. Puff needs some TLC.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The repair place is in northern California. Excuse to drive Laguna Seca: unlocked. Now just don't come back über-expensive for 'lump repair, please. (Or think I'm nuts. It's my Fluffalump. I'm not nuts, I swear.)

{ breathes }

Please help my bunny?

{ hugs Fluffy }

UPDATE : Prices are not bad. The only thing that worries me a little is that she says stuffing doesn't usually clean up well, and that it might have to be replaced. Also, a full cleaning would be three weeks.

Two trips to Laguna Seca? I'm good with this. May is packed, August has a thing I want to do in Austin, and June looks like it might be packed, but hmm. HMMMM.

I have a little stuffed alligator that I've had since I was born. He's had to be re stuffed at least a dozen times over the years.

Oh man, that's like the original Coco Bunny.

Fluffy was originally bought as the Coco look-alike.

(<333333 Coco)

The way you're so casual about saying "Autobianchi A112" makes me so jealous I'm genuinely angry.

I like you lots but now I totally hate you. We're blood enemies. Sorry, but that's how it goes.

Judging by this:

My hospital blog shows the transformations and various surgeries that my patients undergo

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Looks like they do some incredible restorations.

Somewhere in the bottom of a dresser drawer is Old Bear. I have had Old Bear since my earliest memories, and I'll be 49 this year. Old Bear had a bell in his ear, but that disappeared many, many years ago. When Old Bear started getting holes in him, my mother fashioned a onesie out of a sock to help hold him together. It went over his head, with a hole for his face and two holes for his ears, and was pinned up in front with safety pins. He's still wearing his original onesie. There is also New Bear, a replica of Old Bear but, well, newer. He was loved, but never the same as Old Bear. I haven't thought about Old Bear for years, or what will become of him. And not to be dramatic of dark, but Old Bear will probably accompany me in my coffin. Thanks for reminding me. I will have to pull him out and say hello.

One of my 9-year-olds has Mama Duck. Mama Duck used to be soft and fluffy and bright yellow. Now she is matted and tangled and only vaguely yellow. My son's twin brother never latched on to a lovie the way his brother has, and I suspect that of all my sons he is the most like me in many ways. I would not be surprised if Mama Duck is still around in 40 years, perhaps wearing her own onesie fashioned from a sock.

Have you ever read The Velveteen Rabbit ?

It would be funny to see racing drivers cuddling an actual rabbit, but not as funny as Puffalump.

Inky insisted on me taking a picture or 2 of him hanging out. Now, remember that Inky probably was born in the late 40's? He can be a bit insistent. But he still drives and rides very well for his age. (I think he likes Puffalumps).

I've got a bear that is the same deal. Hes had his feet re-clothed, and been re fluffed more times than I can count. His fabric is wearing thin though, so I don't use him as much as I used too.

I have Teddy. Teddy has been with me since day one. I'm 19 years old now. Most people do not understand it, so I tend to keep it under wraps. He has long been a source of comfort and reassurance to me, more so than just about anything else. My mom has repatched his feet about 4 times, re stuffed him the same, and darned holes I wore through the fabric using Teddy as a pillow. Like another poster said, I probably plan to be buried with this stupid bear.

I was probably 4 when I crammed him into the sofa we had as a cheap replacement to ones that had been damaged some way or another. I was playing with teddy, and decided to play hide and seek with him for whatever reason. The sofa interior could be accessed through holes that had been ripped into the fabric, and with full intentions of retrieving teddy in a couple minutes, I placed him there. Right after doing so, I had to be taken somewhere and forgot where I had put Teddy. Upon returning home, and probably to bed, I could not remember where teddy was for the life of me. My poor, long suffering mother, did her best to find a replacement bear, but none had the same worked fabric, and all were not fluffed correctly. To cut a long story short, about two weeks later, that couch was being removed from the house, thanks to a certain drunken uncles lack of bladder control. For some reason, just a few hours before the couch was taken away, I had an urge to check the couch. Sure enough, my long lost compatriot was crammed in there, looking at me. The memory flooded back of the hide and seek game, and I was jubilant to have my best non living friend back. I'm pretty sure my parents made sure he was washed right away.

Since then, through divorced parents, my sister being hospitalized, death of family, and my own deep depression, the one constant I could rely upon is knowing that that silly bear is waiting for me, tucked away so that I don't have to explain to my friends why, I still have my teddy bear, at 19 years old. :)

TL;DR, I get what your doing with fluffy bunny.
