Both cars are great. But I can't help but dislike the fender mounted rearviews, they just stick out like Mickey Mouse ears. If they weren't on there from new, I can't imagine sticking them on there—I would be unable to bring myself to do it, even if the laws required it (in Japan or England, as this is a RHD car). These are so small I can't even imagine that one could see much in them, mounted so far away. People add fender mirrors to the MGA, which has no outside mirrors or doorhandles, if I were to purchase a restored car with them my only thought would be how hard it would be to take them off and fill in the mounting holes. It's a convertible, turn your damn head.
