Time for a Craigslist challenge........

Find a car on your LOCAL Craigslist with the highest mileage. But here's the catch: A car that you wouldn't be scared to put double that amount of mileage on it.

Also, obvious errors are not included.

Kinja'd!!!

This would be my entry. An '09 Crown Vic P71, obviously used as a taxi with 355,000 miles on it. Looks to be in good shape also.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I've ridden in an '02 Crown Vic P71 with a little over 500,000 miles on it and it felt perfectly fine. Not perfect, but it wasn't half bad. I've heard stories of these things hitting one million miles.

This Lincoln Town Car with 367,000 kilometres on it. Nothing would survive longer due to the rust created by the salt here.

Haha, looks like that's the executive package also. Which I think means an extended wheelbase.

Also, extra points for the Homie G wheels.

That definitely has lots of life left in it! I'd call those the German Panther platform cars.

Yeah, I can't tell if it's an error or not, but it could go either way. I mean, most of them weren't originally sold to retail customers, so lots of hi-mi cars out there, and the materials used for the interiors were made to be durable if not nice-to-the-touch like a luxury car. Mostly vinyl and plastic.

I figured since the mileage was given to the exact mile, and no repeating digits in a row, coupled with the fact that the ad is still up after 2 months, that it might actually be real. Of course, none of this guarantees it so.

The interior was very durable and didn't really have any issues as far as quality went. Power window regulators were a bit of an issue from what I've heard, but the plastics didn't crack or wear and the seats didn't sag so they all ended up looking pretty good no matter what the mileage was.

Na, just a switch for the higher gears. Dont even need to use the clutch if you know what you're doing. I've actually spent a few hundred miles in that truck with my dad. He moves them around sometimes for the company.

Wait, so what? I'm so confused by the concept of that.

On another note, how comfortable are the sleepers?

Sure they do, and damn. That is a lot of miles for one truck. Looks remarkably good though.

You don't seem to have authorship here yet? If you're interested and it's not just Kinja you can go here and ask!

A semi with 1,200,000

It is a 2008 model though... so 800k in 7 years is over 110k a year, or almost 10,000 miles a month. Actually doing the math, 807,072 in 7 years is which is ~2,200 miles a week/316 miles a day. It seems highly unrealistic. 80,707.2 is a much more realistic figure.

1st,
2nd,
3rd,
4th,
5th,
*hit a switch that changes from Low to High range, just like a 4x4 has* and then put it in 1st again to get 6th, 2nd gear becomes 7th, and so on... 8th, 9th, and 10th...

I wouldn't say it's impossible. There is a 2006 model year silverado with a million on it , but considering how cop cars are used, even 200,000 would be high mileage for a 2008 model year crown vic.
