Finally stopped to look at it. It's been for sale for months. Way worse than I thought. That white spot on the driver's side? It's where the duct tape came off when someone taped down a split from rust/damage. I couldn't tell if it was a bad rust bubble in paint or someone taped over some damage maybe to keep water out? I was disappointed.

That doesn't look beyond repair, it's rough but looks solid enough. If that was here in Australia I guess that would sell for around $10,000/$15,000, fixed up around $35,000/$60,000 and higher depending on the quality of restoration. What do good ones go for in the US?

Just looked up the value for a restored one and the average is a little over $20k with the big engine. No listing for one with a 318. I don't know much about them but that tells me either it's undesirable or didn't come with a 318 and the original engine is gone lowering the value more.

If I had the time and money to make it right. Yeah. Somewhere around $1000-1500. As is $3k is too much. I didn't bother looking underneath but I bet it wasn't good.

Found these locally. Only one is similar model, has 318.
There is a Cuda with a 440 for $119,000! It looks real nice.
I added the old 1952 Plymouth for interest, it's a locally built one and has a photo of the car from back in the B/W days.

All over the place here. There's probably trims and years that are more desirable that I just don't know about.

Really comes down to experience and desire. And spare funds.
Back to the topic Roadrunner..
Price? up there. Good base for someone with minimum 'ventilated garage'? Maybe. More crawling, flashlight, floorboard, trunk inspection, and a cynical, steel-trap mind to navigate the price down.
"I have this box of golf tees. Each represents $100. I have 30. Let's have a look and see how many I can stick into rust holes in the car before you take my offer."
Fore!

I wouldn't pay more than $1500 assuming underneath is better than up top. I can't get a fix on restored value though. It may not be worth it unless you plan on keeping it a long time.
