i will be spending four days between los angeles and san diego next week. and will be borrowing a car, but can't seem to decide which to take. So, what say you, oppo? Top 3 choices?
1:. 2015 Audi S4, automatic, black ext, black/red int
2: 2006 BMW 650i, automatic, grey ext, black int
3: 2006 Audi A8, automatic, grey ext, black int
4: 2010 Jaguar XF, automatic, black ext, tan int
5: 2013 BMW 135i M Sport, Dinan exhaust, automatic, grey ext, black int
6: 2011 BMW 335i M Sport Convertible, manual, black ext, black int
7. 2009 BMW 750i Sport Package, auto, black ext, tan int
don't ask why all of these are black or grey. or why they're all bmws or audis. this is what's available. :)
even though i dislike the 3 series, and would never own a convertible, it is southern california, and its the only manual.

might as well do the 3 series. Always intresting to try a car you know you will never own yourself

I'd do the 335 convertible. They're hard tops when you have the top up, so it's not to bad. Plus it'll be an experience with california's amazing weather. 135i is a definite second.

BMW M Sport Convertible in California? In the spring? No question.

Let me guess, they are all Dr.'s cars?
Ok, since I don't know much about new cars, I go by what I do know.
1 convertible I rented a convertible mustang in Hawaii and that was nice in nice weather. Unless you won't put the top down regardless, then disregard. But you could also confirm your dislike of convertibles or maybe change your mind.
2 Jaguar because jag
3 A8, Because it's twice the Audi as the S4, I think I have seen some in traffic and they look nice. Maybe it was the A7.
Enjoy California.

i have been thinking about that a8, also. my cars are a gt and a sports car, and i regularly drive a C-class as well. if the s4 was a manual, it would make the decision even harder.
but i kind of have been thinking about a big luxo barge. and the 750 while newer, doesnt really do it for me.
the jaguar i think is ok, but i doubt i would be looking back at it as i walked away.

convertible plus manual. and that i6 twin turbo. those are great engines.
if the 3 was a hard top i'd probably just go with the 135, for the tossability factor.

have you driven the S4?
that its brand new is a fairly positive attribute. but i'm afraid the supercharged v6 in there + quattro + dct isn't going to deliver the fun factor of the TT i6 + rwd + manual. ive driven the 135i and 335i TTi6 cars before, and i really do like them. but haven't been in an audi in a while.
