there arent very many mac games.

I dont know if the steam lets you have BOTh versions...like I dont know if you can buy the game, download it for a mac, and then download it later for PC

Why not run Windows on your Mac? I created a separate partition on my hard drive, installed Windows and can boot either Mac or Windows depending on what I want to do. I run Steam on my Windows side with no issues.

do you want to top out of just run the games?

usually a mid level i5 is good enough for gaming. your main focus should be on a GOOD graphics card and ram. I have a Nvidia GTC 760 in my computer, and I can run all games at medium to high settings.

Not really. Last time I checked Macs had that feature built in with Bootcamp.

It is very easy to do! Only takes like 20 minutes and most of that is installing Windows on the other side. Plus then you don't have to have two computers, you just have one that does it all.

I did not have a good experience with Bootcamp and running Steam/games. It was too laggy and just did not work right. :/

Build a pc, it's not hard like open heart surgery. You can build an optimal i5 4790k build for 1000.

That's like saying "What kind of spark plugs do I need?", I ask what car, and you reply "A new Honda" We need to know the metaphorical engine, if you know what I mean XD

The unibody (I'm assuming it's plastic and not the older aluminum model) would play stuff from 2008 and before pretty well, but will struggle pretty badly with anything remotely new. Putting Windows through Bootcamp would definitely help, allowing the computer to access double the RAM for display reasons.

If you're on the Pro, follow this:

What does it say?

I'm also running partitioned windows on my 2011 macpro. Works pretty good for older games and some new with settings turned down. Depends on what you're looking at playing really, but it works!
