Welcome back to Project Anna! Here's the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for those interested. Sorry its been a while but life has been super crazy. We got some more parts and did a lot of cleaning: enjoy!
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
We started with a good pressure-washer bath; removing the green from the moss the car was covered in from sitting in a yard for months.
The next step involved trying to remove the terrible mildew-y smell from the interior. This involved ripping out the seats and every inch of carpet inside this poor Jeep.
The plan is to simply use some bedliner in place of the carpet. We also plan on lifting it about three inches and putting tube doors all around. The 4X4 will be used.
The filthy thermostat housing got a very nice scrub and looks brand new.
Loose change was oddly EVERYWHERE; including INSIDE THE CARPETING!
I found over $5 worth of disgusting smelling coins!
We went to the pick n pull yard and got new mirrors all around!
Also installed are new air vents, wiper blades, headlights, and a taillight!
It still needs a lot of love and parts but hopefully we plan on getting it road-ready by next month. All fluids still need to be changed and we need to fix that check engine light among other things!
Thanks for reading and expect part 3 in the near future!

If you're going with a 3 inch lift, do not, Do Not, DO NOT get the Rough Country lift. What doors are you going to put on? Tires? How about bumpers? It's an XJ man, you and your friend are no where near done building Anna.
My Pyrrha is no where near done. Lift is bought but not installed, buying tires next week, front bumper is on. Still need to find a cheap rear bumper with spare tire carrier, and a good roof rack. Oh plus all the other little fun stuff.

Cool! I think my grandfather had an XJ back in the day (Like '96?) he never really took them off road though.
Enjoy the project with your friend and hopefully it'll help keep the mind clear and off of school and work problems!

I'm glad to see you're enjoying yourself with cars. Vicki drained a lot from you, remember that post where you were contemplating giving up and going beige? Now you get to help someone else spend their money on a cool project.
This is a good thing for you. You get to have fun as an enthusiast and you can be saving your money for life/ another project that will end better than the v70r.
Good luck from Raleigh NC! (Can oppo comments start ending with where people are from? It'd be cool.)

that much is very much true!
Second, I love that idea of signing off with location!
Third, ive been saving my money to get a healthy down payment for my nrxt car in like a year in a half. The dream is a CPO Volvo C70. I know its dumb and not jalop but I dont care. I love the c70 and really want a hardtop convertible. Cpo has 7 year 100k mile warranty for free. Right now its about 30k so hopefully theyll be around 25k when im ready.
Thanks from sunny Florida
