Back in 2004, when the first GTs hit the showrooms, I snuck past that highly visible "DO NOT TOUCH" sign and put my hands all over that gorgeous supercar. Give me a break...I was 13 :)

Is it just me or did you change the age from 12 to 13? If you're changing your ages I shall now question the validity of this experience.

Well come on, they put a sign on saying 'DO NOT TOUCH' so of course you're going to touch it. It's like saying "don't press the red button", well why make it so bright and inviting to press it? or park benches that have 'WET PAINT, DO NOT TOUCH', how do you now it's wet unless you touch it to find out, of course you then find out it is wet and then get angry with the people who put the sign there, for not putting a more viermont sign to stress how wet the wet paint actually was in it's wetness.

I too remember that compulsion to touch. Touched a Veyron Supersport (a Bugatti henchman swooped on me) and a Tyrrell formula car.

It left a lasting impression on you, didn't it? I first saw it on a commercial during 2004 Super Bowl. I almost fell out of my chair. When my local Ford Store got one in for a customer, they gave me a ride in it. I haven't been the same since.

I'll never forget that ride. There were several vehicles that followed us back to the dealership. Nobody knew what it was. One guy asked if it was real.
