Avid readers may remember my recent post about failing to perform basic suspension part replacement on my car. As it turns out, the bolts were so rusted that our local mechanic had to use a plasma cutter to remove them all, as well as cut the control arms out of the rear . This news makes me feel much less disappointed my father and I were unable to complete the repair ourselves, but at the expense of our pocketbooks.
Have a British Race Car everybody.

I think you've really cheated yourself out of a unique experience. Setting fire to suspension rubber with a torch is one of the best things in life.

mmmmmm british race car ... Sorry to hear about your troubles. I had a buddy in highschool with a mustang GT ... ok ok a few buddies with a mustang GT . But one who got his from the NE part of the country. Eventually when it was time for him todo brakes the car was so rusted that he couldn't get the caliper bolts out .. eventually snapped them off. Took it to a dealer and they had his insurance company total the car because ALL of the suspension components needed to be replaced. Crazy stuff for a 03 mustang..

I am sure it is, however requiring cutting torches to simply remove bolts is beyond my skill and resources.

That's how it goes up here. Doesn't help the salt mines are in our city.
