I do! It's refreshing from all the soft, typical crossovers. This new RX, XC60, SRT8 Jeep, and old TBSS (AWD) are pretty much the only family vehicles i'd ever consider.

I do too! But then again, I also like the current generation as well.

2000s Lexus used to make plain, meh looking cars.
Now they break the mold hardcore, extremely striking and aggressive.
They make Mercedes, BMW and Audi look conservative in contrast, it's fantastic.

I like THIS far better. The over-styling on Lexuses in general, and this RX in particular are getting amazingly ridiculous. I'll take understated and clean over ridiculous looking every time.

Better than "AAAAAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!!" in the Lexus' case, for basically the same vehicle, and the Venza might actually be slightly longer and wider for more cargo and rear legroom.
And as CUVs go, Venza is lower at the roof, and wider than most, with nicely flared fenders... instead of looking like a Faux-wheel-drive off-roader, when even with AWD, they are FAR from rock crawlers.
Better looking than a Murano, or a RAV4.
Sleeker and lower than an Edge or MKX, or the bland GM 5-passenger CUVs.

I'm about to commit oppocide here, but I think the Crosstour looks much better than the Venza.

I kinda like the Acura ZDX... (especially on less boring wheels)
With the truncated tail, it looks more coupe-like than Crosstour.
Crosstour has a bad case of bulky rear overhang... (I am sure there is an anatomical joke in there somewhere, but I am going to leave it alone...)
The problem is, with these, and the X6/X4 BMWs... sloping the roof kills the cargo versatility, but the 4-doors and bulk still means that they weigh just as much as any of the other 5-passenger CUVs with full height roofs.
I have fit furniture in my Venza that would not even close to fit under the Crosstour/ZDX/X6 roofline.
If we were talking about a ~3500lb 3-door crossover-coupe, I would be ALL FOR the sloping fastback roofline, without an expectation for full-use family road trip or furniture-accomodating cargo capability...
But if it is going to be near-enough to 2 tons, with 4-5 full seats and 4 side doors... it might as well have the longer roofline, when so much else is conceded to practicality and versatility otherwise.
