So what they need to do is make a piece of legislation that adds sexual orientation to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 , and that would override any of that. Like, it's still illegal to not do business with African Americans, for example, even if it's against your 'religion'.

Gary, Indiana is a southeast sort of- suburb to Chicago, famous for it's industrial roots and steel mills. It is now regarded as one of the most run down cities in America. Searching on Google gets you suggestions for "Ghetto", "Slum", and "Gangs", if that adds any context.

America is actually a pretty nice place.

'Murica is what has been making the news as they are quite vocal about their willfull ignorance that the rest of the world isn't them, or even exists for that matter. Sadly, too many 'Muricans have enough money we will basically have to wait until they die off before America can rejoin the rest of the world. If ever.

As an American, I'm not really all that optimistic about our chances. There are an awful lot of really stupid people around here...
