Man, it's been a busy few nights for me in terms of Cars, but I think this should be the end of it, except 944 updates and the like.
So, I asked you all last night what you would buy with 80k, my theory was that a bunch of you would jump onto the Alfa 4C train and laugh into the booster carbon fiber sunset. None of you chose it. None. Squat. Zilch. The square root of jack. This shocked me. Alfa Romeo, coming back with a risky sports car, with a carbon tub, for under 100K, how could you not love it? Yet, it was ignored by the majority of Oppo. Why is this? Do you all not like it? Waiting for the spyder? Tell me Oppo, why have you forsaken the 4C?

I kind of forgot it existed...
I still wouldn't have chosen it.

Forgot about it, too small, not enough power, too much attention.

No manual. I'm not trying to be an asshole or pretend like every car on the face of the earth should be manual, but that car really should be. The essence of the 4C is to enjoy the drive and to be engaged, and a manual is still a big part of that.

I don't think I participated in that but my only gripe is no manual.

It's kinda weird looking... atleast to me. Lots of other cars at that price point or less.

In my case it depends on conditions, namely whether I already have a daily, which I think I asked about and didn't get a reply to. If I don't I'm getting a big, fast, off-road capable wagon/hatch, because my life requires something that can handle rough roads and lots of junk in the trunk, and I have zero interest in getting a crossover/SUV. If I do already have a daily, then it gets interesting and the Alfa comes up on my radar as a possibility.

But I need a tow vehicle so badly and a Cayenne Diesel in Mahogany Metallic with the tow package, heated seats, the panoramic sunroof...and I haven't been blowing hours on a configurator at all, nope.
