I'll be over here drooling at 400 Twin Turbo V6 horsepower, AWD, All-Wheel Steering, and dat exterior and interior design.

Kinja'd!!!

Redesigned CUE as well with German-style touchpad where you can write letters out.

Kinja'd!!!

Also, new gauge cluster that's going into all Cadillac eventually looks much better.

Kinja'd!!!

Heh, show car already has 25,000 miles on it. Must've been testing, testing, and more testing.

I'm in love with this thing.

If it comes in a CT6 V-Sport. I'm going to be able to die on the spot.

The whole "touchpad where you can write letters" part makes me a bit nervous... It might sound intuitive, but to me it seems like it would be very distracting. Also, not to be "that guy", but I'm inclined to believe that Cadillac's target demographic is likely not going to be into that sort of feature. I'm not saying everyone who's buying a Caddy is old, and their clientele probably is becoming younger now that they've spruced up their line-up a bit, but there's no denying that a very large percentage of them are still older.

The TTV8 could very well be a Cadillac exclusive DOHC motor.

Capacitive buttons are still the devil. Give me real buttons dammit!

God I hope not. It should be a small ci LT style engine. Simple, lightweight, powerfull, reliable.

Agreed. At least for the volume amd blower speed.

Merc and I think Lexus have the same sort of touchpad thing, and we all know who Lexus's clientele are, Merc to an extent too. Plus you can still use the touchscreen.

I can deal for the climate control. The Fusion has touch captive buttons for the climate control and they've never given us issue. The Volume control I'm eh about but there's probably buttons on the wheel to do it anyway.

Given how Cadillac wants to separate themselves from GM, I'm betting it's a new ground-up design. We can hope it's LT-based, but I kinda doubt it.

True, I think they all do. It all seems very distracting still.

Other than the shifter and the headlights, I think Cadillac did a great job with it. I think the center console would look a million times better with a dial or some sort of compact shifting mechanism.

Maybe that's what the twin turbo V8 is

They irritate me because they offer absolutely no improvement over regular buttons. The only conceivable benefit to capacitive buttons is the ability to say "ooh look these not-actually-buttons are touch sensitive ." In exchange for that entirely worthless ability, they just don't work as well as regular buttons. And don't even try to use them with gloves, unless you have smartphone gloves.
