I'm ordering the parts to repair the front suspension on my '03 Odyssey. My brother sent me a list of parts from Rock Auto, and that's what I'm ordering. What's weird, at least to me, is that the L and R struts are showing a price difference of $2. Is this normal? I just want to be damned sure that I'm getting the right stuff. Never ordered car parts before.
KYB Part # SR4072 (Front Left Strut/Coil Spring/Mount Assembly) $130.79
KYB Part # SR4071 (Front Right Strut/Coil Spring/Mount Assembly) $128.79

I've seen it before; don't understand it however.

It's just odd, since the list my brother sent me had them both at $130. I guess I should just be happy I'm saving $2.

Common, if not really that sane. Maybe Factory X that was contracted to produce 30% of the units for one side ran $3 more per unit on their shipping costs or something, which didn't hit the other side because Factory Y and Factory Z split the load for that one... In short, shit happens.

Could be a right wing Republican conspiracy against left wingers...
