Stop blocking the traffic and get off the grid.

It's amazing how many still block a yellow box junction.
It's self explanatory. Don't enter a yellow box junction unless your exit is clear. You may remain in a yellow box junction only if you are turning right and oncoming traffic is impeding your progression and then must vacate it as soon as is safe to do so.
Yet people still do it.

I have this thing with my girlfriend where we scream;
'YELLOW BOX BLOCKER!!'
We are mature.

I'm even less mature. For me it's "YELLOW BOX COCK".

I live in a country without yellow boxes. Therefore blocking the intersection is legal. This is how I interpret it. :p

Lol. It wasn't directed at you fella, honest.
Yellow box junctions have a legal caveat to be kept clear to promote smooth flow is prone congestion areas.
Though the U.K. Highway Code does state similar requirements to all junctions, blocking a yellow box junction is a fineable motoring offence.

I know I was just being an ass haha. I know I shouldn't block the intersection and sometimes I try not to, but sometimes I don't try and block away lol.
Here it is illegal to block all intersections even though we don't paint yellow boxes.

It would depend on the circumstance as to whether blocking a regular junction was an illegal act or not. If it was done out of intention to disrupt traffic then that is a illegal activity, if it was done out of lack of attention to the road then that would glean a word from the police (if present or called to attend) and may incur a fine depending on what happened and how nice the police officer was and you were to them, if however it was briefly and it was due to another person or vehicle then it rides with that person.

Thanks!! Here I have only ever seen one person block a junction and get a ticket, they did it right in front of a cop and blocked him. But the other day an 18 wheeler turned left in front of me and blocked the entire junction. This was also in front of a cop, but he declined to do anything.

Ye', I see it all the time. Sometimes I wish I could just ticket them myself.

Same lol. The 18 wheelers who turn left (which would be across traffic like turning right for you) and block the entire intersection are the biggest dicks. YOU KNOW YOU CANT FIT WHY THE FUCK DID YOU GO??? lol.

They go because they are dicks who think their life and their time is more important to them. Even if they haven't gained any ground they feel like they have (aka inferiority complex).

I mean I get it, when you block it so other people can't get ahead of you. But when you block everyone going straight (the direction you just came from) what purpose does that serve lol.

Non, non at all. That's the thing. We see them being dicks and they can't see what they've done wrong and feel we are dicks because we want to get on with our lives to.
There is no known cure for stupid.
