SO thats what all the traffic I saw was about. He will of been coming back from Beach Hop I bet.

I was gonna say that he probably misjudged the width of his truck and brushed the barrier which pulled him in, but looking at it the truck seems to be RHD so he REALLY have to misjudge his car to do that!

The way he's crashed is pretty unusual, a side scrape shouldn't make him go 45 degrees!

Ooof. That's gotta hurt. Maybe something snapped and he veered into the median.

haha, that happened recently when a 1930s coupe had a head on crash. And everyone went "why doesn't this car have airbags?", "why doesn't this car have seat belts" and "this car shouldn't be on the road". Then you realise that your average joe doesn't know that old cars are exempt from certain regulations, are better off driven, and cared for.

A side scrape no, but a side scrape on movable walls, yes...

Pictures of the crash scene show what appears to be a classic pickup truck crashed into the movable median barrier.

It appears that way, but it's actually a 2013 Hyundai Elantra.
