Indeed i have, a few years ago my dad and i went on a camping trip. First to the Colorado sand dunes, then to lake powell and on to utah. We definelty drone that road on that trip. We also drove highway 491 on that trip. You know tbe road Ansel Adams famously photographed?

The title was a joke, but it was still pretty last minute and lightly planned.

It took about 8 days and 3,800 miles; we left on the 20th and got back yesterday. It also cost under $300 a person (there were 5 dudes packed into a Ford Explorer).

We booked it to the Canyon from IL in one straight drive, and stayed there for a couple of days before heading to Moab. We stayed there for 2 days before driving to the Srings and spending a day just hangin' around. Lastly, we headed up to Cheyenne where we met some lady friends of ours who tripped it up in Montana and Wyoming. We swapped cars and shared stories on the drive home, which was a great way to end the trip.

I might write a more detailed post sometime next week, but anyway, road trips are fun and everyone should do them!

I've been to Cali, but that was years ago. Furthest west I got this trip was the Grand Canyon.

The idea of a California road trip was floated, but it's a really long drive and none of us are old enough to rent a car :(

I wasn't dealing no drugs. Was just drunk when the gagsters chased us. One of the guys I was with was drunk and threw ice at a car that passed us. The car pulled over and within 2 minutes other cars came. These dudes got so pissed and chased us. The only person that got hurt was the one who started it all by throwing the god damn ice. He was jumping down stairs and landed bad and broke his leg. These dudes were still yelling at us but we were like "dude I think he suffered enough for his crime" and some lady came out of her house and said she's calling the cops so they left.

I fell asleep in the waiting room of the ER that we took the guy to.

Moral: never fuck with people's cars.
