Those are nice... I work with a lady with a white 530 Touring. Beautiful car. Honestly, I think I like it better than the sedan.

Looks like a pre-facelift BMW E39 wagon. Most likely a 525i.

How can you tell pre vs post facelift from the side?

hrrrrrrrng e39 wagon. Just did my first road trip in mine, the car is living up to expectations

Post facelift had the black trim painted body color. Also, the taillights (and headlights) have the turn signal portion in orange, where later cars were either clear or, for the wagons I believe, red.

Definitely pre-facelift

Pre-facelift wagon was from June 1996 to September 2000

Had the amber taillight turn signals. That's the key

525i is a good guess by those rims

Definitely a rare sight to see a red one

every night i pray for my transmission to grenade so i can swap it and have an e39 wagon.

The red isn't bad but my favorite is actually the medium blue (I'm bad with paint color names.) Totally would repaint my car that color. Or maybe technoviolet (I know that one...)

I don't know what "technoviolet" is but I want it.

Also, I want an Alpina E39 wagon. That an a E38 B12 6.0 turbo.

I think that would make a good garage. Though if I really could have everything a nice 328 and perhaps a 507 (though I her they drive like shit) would be nice.

I am trying to find a set of rims like that for mine, I thought there was a factory bmw set? Something that will look good with low profile tires.
