Some time ago, I was telling you how Sergio Marchionne is not opposed of having Ferrari in F1 and Alfa Romeo in WEC, or even the other way around.

Kinja'd!!!

The question is, would you rather see Alfa coming back to F1 and allow Ferrari's move to WEC , with the only purpose of kicking some Porsche ass.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Or should Ferrari stay in F1 to chase its former glory, with Alfa going to WEC for some intensive R&D of hybrid technology.

Give Alfa its shot at endurance glory. Ferrari has lots of stuff to fix in F1 before it wants to set its sights at Le Mans (or anywhere for that matter).

Oh, and I think Lancia can still be saved.

Keep Ferrari (and their unique brand of bullying politics) in F1. WEC and Le Mans is more about everyone competing with each other.

Ferrari would have cried and whinged about Toyota's rear wing. Whereas Audi asked for clarification after the fact and were probably on their way to copying the system.

Any manufacturer would do well for themselves to enter WEC before F1 these days. Considering the technology and rules allowing for a broader application, LMP1 cars seem to be more advanced than F1.
