I don't care what the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! want you to think. The Fast & Furious movies are pure, unleaded, action fun and the best 6 film franchise in existence. Best Picture or GTFAC.

FF7 might even be better than Point Break.

I've only seen parts of the first one and that was through a haze of gin... I remember the wheelie at the end though.

While I think Vin was a little overboard with the whole Best Picture thing (or he was just trolling everybody), I enjoy the F&F movies. Are they quality cinema? Of course not. And that's okay. I enjoy watching them. It's a mindless way to spend a few hours watching ridiculous car scenes and explosions. I'm not looking for Academy Award winning qualities.

My friends and I bought tickets at one of those "reserve a seat" theaters two weeks ago. Doing a chronological rewatch this weekend. So excited. I remember I thought they were a joke till I saw 5. Life changing. Enjoy the date! Bring tissues!

Nice.
Are the tissues to mop up after the action driving chase scenes or the feels that I'll probably get seeing PW in his last F&F movie? I'm going to say it now in all seriousness. both.

They do a great job of playing dumb and sticking to it. The characters are catacitures but honest. And the movies are FUN. It's nice not having gritty, serious, Nolan-BBBWWWAAAAHHHHH-noise, action films again.

Any movie that has the 12-year old kid half of your brain tell the adult portion of your brain "shut your whore mouth" when goofy things happen is a great movie. Even if it's a "bad" movie. See also: Pacfic Rim.

lol seriously? Those prequels are really weak except for 3/4s of 3. At least the "bad" F&F movies are still fun and enjoyable action films that build toward the great later movies (introducing characters blah blah blah). Midichlorians? Shoe-horning Fett in there to pander to fans? Jar-Jar? Dat CGI? Hopefully the subsequent films aren't shit (fingers really crossed, love SW).

Empire and Hope are top all time. Return is eh comparatively.
Tokyo is pretty good! I like it overall, some of my friends love it, some people hate it. I like Han.
Personally: 6 (the silliest and craziest, therefore my favorit-iest), 5 (a far better movie than 6), 1, 3, 2.

I never really watched the Fast and Furious movies, except for Tokyo Drift (because I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, bored out of my mind, and it was on the DVD rack at the local Wal-Mart). However, I am stupidly excited for this movie:

I highly recommend 5 and 6, they're totally different.
But, yeah, after Furious 7, Fury Road is far and away my most excited film coming this year. The trailers look AMAZING and the stunts look EPIC. If you like epic stunts, def check out F&F 5 and 6.
