On a similar note in Forza 4 you could customize your first gen Camaro all you want -except for getting rid of it's vinyl top :/

Forza 5 lacks in everything Forza 4 was great in, which was everything.

I still get my racing fix from Forza 4 (don't have an Xbox One) so I haven't had a chance to compare the two other than reviews. Maybe 6 will be better.

It was a mess at launch. Microtransactions, lack of content, sucidal AI to name a few but Turn 10 patched the hell out of it and it is a lot better. Bar the stupid fact that you start every race on cold tyres it is to me the best feeling racing game out there.

From what I've seen it was better than GT6 even at launch. Forza 4 was light years ahead of GT6 already in my opinion. I need to have a go of 5 for myself.

I haven't tried GT6 but that's a big statement. What made GT6 so much worse than GT5.

As for Forza 5, I say wait for Forza 6 if you do get an Xbox One. As much as I love Fiveza it is easily the worse Forza and is very much a launch title. A very good launch title but clearly a game rushed out the door.

It basically is GT5 with a few small upgrades and I wasn't very fond of that either. Cars don't sound like cars, online stability isnt too great, driving isn't too bad but doesn't feel as nice as forza.

I doubt I'll be getting an Xbox One since I got a PS4, but if someone I know gets one I'll have to have a go of Forza.

The newest, newest cars actually sound good... and by good, I mean not like a vacuum cleaner. Seems like all the cars released since the Senna car pack have upgraded audio. The Lotus 97T F1 car sounds cool and so does the Mazda GT Vision Car. Any new car seems to be much louder by default as well, despite its state of tune. But as they make new cars sound better, they don't go back and fix the sound of old ones (not even the "premium" ones).

They have sneakily fixed the visuals on some of the GT4 quality cars, which are being dubbed "GT4.5" cars . They are weird, they have GT5 quality exteriors with no interiors (and sometimes the wheels are still left GT4 quality). Good examples are the Superbird and the XJ220. And now with the sound upgrades, it seems like the cars since the Senna pack are like "GT6.5" cars. While they are at it, Polyphony might as well throw in the motorcycles from Tourist Trophy with their whole anything goes mentality on vehicle quality.

And I would still play the hell out of it.
