That seems more like a 4Runner thing, especially the 4th generation. That generation gets a lot of use by fraternity's and sorority's.

Drove an '89 Land Cruiser, brand new. Very capable vehicle, probably more so than the Range Rover of the period. If I lived in the middle of nowhere and had no need to travel long distances, it's what I'd have. But one with an airbag.

Sort of on topic...do you have any FJ80 purchase tips? My wife are looking at a 91 today wondering if there any things you would keep an eye out for. I'm asking you because judging from some of your trips, we would use it for about the same purpose.
