I know it is not the most PC Bentley to ever come out of England but I don't care. The unique styling of thee Chinese Eye makes it one of my favorites

Grille is too Bentley.

That's because it is a Bentley and I just noticed it... Please excuse me while I go crawl in a hole and die from embarrassment. Rookie mistake

Please stop that. Bentley/Rolls, before they were sold to different Germans, were one of the worst cases of badge engineering out there. Same platforms, nearly the same bodies. It's an easy mistake to make.

Yeah but still I like to think I am more observant than that. I mean the flying B is right there.

The only way I saw the flying B was to expand the photo. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Strong words of advice.
Off topic but I have always wondered what is it like owning a car in Manhatten? I live in Ohio and think driving through cities is horribly intimidating.

Driving here isn't an issue - I'm usually getting out of town and it's easy to find the bridge/tunnel I want. Taxis will cut you off, but they're not dangerous. Buses are - the drivers usually don't check thoroughly before a lane change, so I just never get near them.
I've never owned a car here - it's always been Zipcar and Hertz. When I first moved here in July 2001, I briefly toyed with the idea of keeping my '97 SHO, a car I really liked. But a garage was $495/month, and you quickly realize that there's enough to do in the city to where you won't need a car more than 5-6 times a year, if that. So I rent.

I can't imagine living without a car. But then again I have never stepped foot in Manhatten. Shame you had to sell the SHO that was one of the gems of the Ford lineup in the 90's.
I can't say I am surprised buses are the problem. The few times I drive through the city I have experienced similar problems.

Here a car is more of a hindrance. If you keep it on the street, you need to move it at least twice a week - alternate side parking on certain days. A garage is expensive. And then there's insurance, upkeep. Even though the car was paid for, it didn't make any sense. 8 grand a year to keep it didn't make sense when I drove so rarely.

8 grand just to have a car parked every year does seem excessive. I think I read somewhere that someone had incurred 80,000 dollars in parking fees. The man stored a Duesenberg Model J in a garage on West 57th and Jay Leno seized the opportunity and payed the parking fees and bought the car.

That's one way to get a Duesie .... And who knows - the car was tagged in DC, then Wisconsin, when I moved here. The insurance might have doubled - $160 a month at that point, with everything.

I'm sure it would have if the car was sitting outside on a busy Manhatten street.
