Cant help it, but one of the things that bothers me most when driving is, I come to a red light at an intersection and look in the rear view mirror to see the driver behind me coasting to a stop while either looking in his/her lap (texting, no doubt) or looking anywhere but at the back end of my car. How can they tell when to stop??

I have been rear ended too many times to not be looking at my rearview when someone is coming up behind me. This shit pisses me right off. I use the rear fog light to my advantage and toggle it sometimes, or just pucker up

I hate that too. I always brace myself for a rear end collision.

I always look in my rear view when stopping. It's a worthwhile habit to get into even if sometimes you cant do dick about it. Also as a manual transmission whom often will slow down without brake lights, I sometimes hit the pedal slightly anyways in order to illuminate myself.

I have snuck out of a few accidents already by doing it. Then it is just up to me to not go back and knock someone the fuck out

I don't do squat when I drive, but drive. I f I need to talk on the phone, which is rare, I do it somewhere safe. Forget texting or anything else. I don't know what's so hard about that. One time, I was sitting at a stoplight and looked over and the woman next to me was flossing her teeth! WTF?
