Spotted on my way home:
That these mud terrain/swamper tires spent so much not in the mud that theyre as bald as racing slicks.
Also 3 ton bro-dozer on slicks in an area that constantly gets rain... hmmm.. I'm sure hydroplaning must be fun.

Deep tread tires wearing away to nothing is as common as dirt. Or possibly in this case more common.

Tire noise is probably finally within a tolerable range, though.

I find few other car sub-cultures have nearly as high of an expense to income ratio as your average bro dozer driver. Good offroad tires make a set of Pilot Sports look cheap!

And truthfully, you rarely need anything more intense than a good quality AT even in the harshest terrain, suffice to say that you know how to use your gearing properly

With how expensive those sorts of tires are, it's probably cheaper to just keep using them until the truck needs replacing instead of changing them.

My neighbour has a brodozer. It's tires are similar although not quite so bad. He recently asked me how to regroove his tires. I suggested he don't do that, because only heavy truck tires are meant for recaps.

I had meaty all terrains before, and they are noticeably worse at everything compared to my Mastercraft MXT's. The truck in the pic has TSL's, which are known for there miniscule range.

I've had General Grabber AT's on my Disco II for 18 months now and they have never failed to pull me out of the muck and also don't eat up any more than normal gas, nor is the tire sound an issue.

These are TSL Super Swampers. It takes very little road time to wear them down. You don't buy bullet hole style wheels and Super Swampers to be a bro, you buy Fuel's/XD's/Moto Metal's/American Force's/Etc. with Toyo's or Nitto's. By the staining on the tire, these have clearly been used offroad, A LOT.

I had Pro-Comp Extreme Terrain's that the sucker of a P.O. paid $315 a pop for, which is what they retail for. They even have a decent rating. Whoever rated/reviewed the tires clearly never drove something with any grip. They were so bad that they could fool my ABS into locking up, I'm not even joking. At 25k miles they needed replaced due to uneven tread wear and debeading from the rim. My $240 a pop Mastercraft's are so much better, at least below 75.

I'll never complain about the cost of the MPSS. Worth every penny.

Small price to pay to look tough.
