Its similar to a bro truck, with a dash of redneck. They're everywhere in my neck of the woods. So common that one from my school passed my house while I am writing this, and it's the one that I was imagining for this article . The vehicle of choice for the "cool kids."
Most commonly:
2003-2006 Silverado crew or extended cab - black, blue, silver, or white
Full tinted windows
Roof rack w/tire
Really bright HIDs
Exhaust that sounds like popcorn, dual tips out the corners 45°
Browning, Ducks Unlimited, and/or Costa Del Mar stickers on the back window
4 or 6 inch lift
Big mud terrain tires
And the one that passed had every one of these.

Aren't all bro-trucks redneck? I'm sure that many said bros would deny it, but they're wrong.

Yep, one Google search of "bro truck" revealed the similiarities, but the drivers seem different for some reason. Find an image of a bro truck driver, put him in a mossy oak jacket with jeans and steel toe boots, there ya go.

Bro trucks. Just different dialects.

That sure sounds like a bro truck to me. Like SidewaysOnDirt said, bro trucks are automatically at least somewhat redneck.

We have them all over the place. My term for them is Brobillies.

Bros are suburban rednecks, but also a unique SoCal subculture that is often imitated elsewhere in the country. I think he's describing some kind of hybrid between a rural redneck and a proper bro.

Brobillies - I must start saying that.

It's a new species. The scientists must be put to work.

Not necessarily, rednecks usually come up with good ideas that sound bad in practice, but make tons of money: NASCAR/Truck Nutz. Removing suspension travel and making things not function as they should is very anti-redneck.

I called a driver a Mossy Joke once. Does that fit?

We call them Bro-Dozers

I'm pretty sure "bro-truck" fits the description above. Just because they don't have massive amounts of lift doesn't mean it's not bro'd out.

Bro + Redneck = Bredneck?
