Unfortunately that McLaren is not a real car.
Also, I don't look at them as classes, but rather as distinctive cars. Luckily, this is not spec racing.

I of course know it's not real but God damn it should be. Unless it's powered by Honda. Oh god no.
And on the subject of classes, they are such different species of race car, and it's not just like one is a slower version of the other. Although, I've hearf of one or two drivers who have gone from LMP2 to LMP1, I think one of them will drive the GT-R LM Nismo

LMP2 and LMP1 are actually quite similar in regulations. The ACO favors LMP1 eligible chassis' in LMP2 - the Lotus LMP2 basically jumped into LMP1. The great thing about P2 is the mandatory engine compatibility.

The rendering looks so real that it's easy to get fooled. A Honda engine sounds like a good idea, because the two teams would share the costs of running the cars.
And you're talking about Oliver Pla, he came from G-Drive, he has quite some experience with LMP cars.

I meant different cars, from different manufacturers. As opposed to DP and other spec series.

Oh, yeah, that is pretty neat. Mind you, the ACO is looking to limit it to four chassis manufacturers and one spec engine by 2018.

I was making a Mclaren-Honda joke- right now the whole thing isn't working right now. But the HPD engines I understand have been very good in the ARX LMP2's, right?
