Ugh… So do I.. I live RIGHT by it too, in Astoria. Problem is prices are through the roof out of LGA, and my boss won't let me book a more expensive flight, since the company pays.

I flew out of JFK on Monday afternoon. Took off about 40 minutes late, but pilot made it up in the air and still landed on time. Supposedly they started the work on Sunday??? Also, we weren't sitting on the tarmac that 40 minutes, they just boarded us later.

I've flown out of there a handful of times and each time I've had zero issues! Granted I've also never had issues at JFK but maybe I'm just lucky.
