Check out my sweet second car:

First car that I paid my own money to purchase. You're goddamn right it had a fake wood dash.

But seriously, it was as fun as a Japanese 4-cyl midsize sedan could be. It had decent handling and a little bit of power and it lasted me from sophomore year of undergrad through the end of grad school (barely). It's like a 4-door Eclipse!

Searching for and owning that car was what ignited my current interest in automobiles. When I bought it, I made the mistake of thinking my parents should have input on the purchase. As I learned more and more about cars I slowly came to a terrifying realization: "is...is my car lame? "

I still think it's a good looking car on the outside. The interior was fine, but man that fake wood was horrible. It also had goo all over the dash from the previous owner's monogrammed dash cover. It wasn't even monogrammed with my name, so even if it wasn't hideous it had to go.
