Fifth gear seems to suit him better. It's more motoring focused with a little hi jinks and cars of all types. Top gear is entertainment and hi jinks with powerful cars.

Given how often Fifth Gear gets cancelled and then immediately brought back maybe the BBC should just buy them back.
