This is what is wrong with my car.
EGR tube is broken, yet again (new design pipe on old design EGR cooler this time), so that means, the car does the small displacement diesel equivalent of BRAAAAAP, and the turbo is basically useless, venting everything into the engine bay, hence vacuum on the driving clip (diesels don't rely on vacuum).
I'm also in a situation that my mother doesn't want me working on it, and my father doesn't want to send it in to the shop to get the proper EGR cooler installed, so it's parked now, and won't be fixed once we resolve this disagreement.

I forgot to reconnect two of my vacuum lines when I was replacing a fuel injector. Rolled it out of the space to turn it around and NO BRAKES! Had to pull the e-brake to get it to stop (was a slow crawl). And that's how I learned about brake boosters. Oh and the time before that the engine revved to 2500rpms and stayed there. It was quite frightening.
