Red = Left Hand Drive. Blue = Right Hand Drive.
I've never seen a map of this before... The world is overwhelmingly LHD. Thought it was interesting.

I found that fact checking myself!

And yet the Brits think the left is the 'proper' side of the road.
![]() 03/12/2015 at 16:45 |

This is why I have no trouble referring to the right as the 'correct' side of the road

Plus Japan, Thailand, Nepal, Indonesia...

I've no trouble sitting on the right side of the car.

Oh come on, we all know Russians drive on whatever side of the road they want to.
And sidewalks.
And train tracks.
And rivers.

Sometimes, when I drive across the equator my car suddenly goes from LHD to RHD. This now explains this miraculous phenomenon.

Truth. We should augment the map with yellow for Russia

And Italy.
![]() 03/13/2015 at 01:00 |

Well, then most of the map should be yellow because road laws are only really followed in the typical "Western" countries and the most-developed Eastern ones.
Shit, then the USA needs to be orange since it's in between.

where is Malta? I'm not familiar.

South of Italy. A small island that was part of the UK until the 60's.
They've kept English as the official language and the RHD cars.

I was there with a cruise ship last month. It's a place that looks like it's trapped in the 1600's while having modern tech. Lots of movies are shot there.
And weirdly, a LOT of people on the cruise ship didn't even know Malta was a country, or even existed.

sounds like my kind of place actually

It's an Awesome place. Really.
It has that British feel, with lots of pubs, Land Rovers, diesel Fiats and Peugeots, but with the Medieval style of southern Italy. It's an expensive place, though. As any other small island.
