Sort of. It's called the CR-Z Mugen RZ. It's sold mainly for Japan, but Honda Indonesia also import them to my country as well. It has a Supercharged 1.5l Inline-4, combined with an electric motor from some blender, and it produce some 176 horses.

Combined with a 6-speed manual, Mugen said it'll do 0-60 in 8.3 seconds. It'll also returns a respectable 50mpg if you drive it carefully. Mugen makes 300 examples of this thing, and Honda Indonesia kindly imports just 1 example of it.

In Indonesia this car retails for 80k USD. Part of the price was import tax, since this car only retails for about 40-ish thousand dollars in Japan at the time. Still, 40G for this thing is a bit to much, 80G is just plain joke.

Although i have to admit it does looks quite good.

I love the looks of the CR-Z, especially the Mugen, but even that performance edition is barely on par with a late 80s CRX Si. There should be more to show for 25+ years of innovation and design progression.

Yeah.

Mugen once considered the even hardcore CRZ Mugen RR with nearly 200 horses (197? i can't remember it), but even i think that's a tad too low.

If you only aims to get an extra 36hp from stock CRZ, why bother supercharging it?
