Full disclosure, this is junk science but i dont care. share your feasibly junk science below!
1. I have found that if i put my seat in it's lowest position, i am lower in the vehicle and therefore have moved weight down overall. YMMV
2. if i move forwards one click or so, my pedals respond more angrily because I'm closer and push them further with the same distance/effort.

I've wanted to put an AC clutch on a power steering pump so I could turn the power steering off and reduce parasitic drag

Car washes make your car run better. I swear this was true with my Vanagon, it always felt better after a wash.

I put the least amount of fuel possible in my Crown Vic that will probably still get me to my destination. It's pretty stripped, so 80 fewer pounds of fuel over the rear axle makes it ride a few inches higher in the rear, and drive completely different. I put heavy duty shocks with helper springs back there and now it doesn't even feel very boaty once it's at or below empty! The beat to shit 5.0 probably doesn't make 150 at the crank, but because efi, the low end is decent. So combine torque with cop roll bars, dual exhaust extending a whole six inches past the catalytic converters, and light stiff rear, and it's hilarious, rattley, obnoxious fun to slide around corners. It's definitely something I try not to drive into town.
