I was intrigued by this groupon offer:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
But then I did a little research and it sounds pretty awful. Among the fine print you sign when you get there, is an "RPM" fee of thousands of dollars for exceeding 5k rpm. In a Ferrari! Also, you're on the hook for cone rash or any other paint damage they can blame on you. So to avoid all of those insane charges, you have to add a couple hundred dollars of "insurance." And on top of that once you've bought the groupon, scheduling a drive before it expires is almost impossible, so they basically pocket tons of expired groupon dollars. Good business plan!

Thanks for the info. I have seen these on Groupon for years and have considered trying it out. Now I know why it has been on Groupon for so long.

I saw this as well but was immediately turned off by having to schedule a timeslot after purchase. I didn't catch the rest of the fine print. I will stay very far away.

Does the groupon say "Come drive a Ferari or Lambergini"? Cause I wouldn't be surprised.

Keep it under 5k? No thanks.
