Well it's turboed and from the 70's or 80's. I'm guessing something japanese. If I had to stake a guess something from Mitsubishi.

2nd gen Celica, that has been riced to death. They even relocated the mirrors for some reason. Enjoy your $10.

it could be anything, he specializes in the GM LSx stuff, so it could be something with a swap. My first thought was an 80s Malibu but the wheel arches are different.

I wanted to edit the post, but kinja. It's technically a Supra, though it was when Supra was more or less a modified Celica.

It's so modified, and the rear is cropped, it's hard to pin down exactly . It could be a 2nd-gen Toyota Celica, or it could be a Mark I Celica Supra (which was a variant of the 2nd gen Celica).

Definitely a '77 -'81 Toyota Celica of some flavour, anyhow.

probably is, most the cars my brother gets in the shop are ones that are very good at going straight.

What's technically a Supra? The car pictured? There was never a "coupe" Supra as pictured above. All Supras have been "Liftbacks", from the MkI in 1978 (in Japan) to the MkIV.

Supra was an options package available for the Celica from 1979-1986 in the US. It became it's own vehicle with the MkIII introduction with the 1986.5 model. The main differences with the MkI/MkII Supra and Celicas are the straight 6 in the Supra and different front fascia (MkI was almost 5 inches longer than the 1978-1981 Celica to accommodate the 6 cylinder). The MkII front facia was changed even further from the Celica.

Citizennick's car is a 1978-1979 Celica coupe. There was a facelift in 1980 that changed the headlights, taillights , and a few other pieces (like the mirrors). I've owned a 1979 Supra, and two 1981 Celicas in the last two years.

Last night we only had the top picture. From that view, it's pretty hard to tell.

B pillar gives it away as a coupe. Then again, I've researched the hell out of these cars to see what interchanges between the generations.
