I enjoy the hell out of Wheeler Dealers, but Top Gear it isn't. Not nearly enough juvenile stupidity.

Yes, Edd!!!
Always feel a little sorry for Edd whenever he finishes the restoration and then he's too tall to take it on the test drive.
And why is everyone so sure Jezza's gone for good? I heard it was just a week while they get to the bottom of what happened

I love that show. Yeah, it's formulaic as hell, but I record it and skip over the repetitive bits. I've actually learned a fair bit watching the show.

The beauty of Wheeler Dealers is the minimal amount of artificial drama. Sure they have Edd do the obligatory whining when the car rolls up to the garage but it's at such a low level that it doesn't even register on the Reality Show Drama Meter.

Edd China taking Jezza's place... That would be interesting. But could BBC control his wild hair?
Although I would be sorry to see Wheeler Dealers go, and Edd actually has mechanical talent, not just on-screen talent.
