Go to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to find a place where you'd like to live and post a few pictures, doesn't need to be the most expensive or largest, but the one you like the most. Any location is game. I want to know more about your architectural taste Oppo! For me it has to be a vineyard + old stone house in Provence.

I do not play by your rules. I will use my personal favorite realty site.

I like t his one in California well enough, but some of the furniture would need changing and I'm not thrilled with the proximity of the neighbors. But that's the proverbial price I pay for doing this on shoestring budget :(

Kinja'd!!!

Closer to home, I still like this little old cottage:

Unfortunately, it sold. So I'll settle for this one :

It's about a mile from my current abode, and since it's unfurnished, it's a blank canvas. And my car looks good in front of this one, too:

I feel there's a stunning lack of 600 sq ft cabins on the outskirts of town with hoonable acreage on this real estate site

I'm a little torn.

This first one is from the town I grew up in, Ambler PA:

Kinja'd!!!

http://www.jamesedition.com/real_estate/pe… but honestly, I like this house in my current town for nearly half the price.

Kinja'd!!!

It's on 38 acres for just a hair under a million. I can imagine all of the shenanigans I could get myself into on all of that property in my Subaru.

Plus I almost love this kitchen. All it needs is the wood painted white.

Kinja'd!!!

And this master bath, HOLY SHIT YES!!!!!!!!

Kinja'd!!!

And the pool area is rather nice.

Kinja'd!!!

Plus a 3 car garage is excellent.

Kinja'd!!!

And to finish it off, it's on a frickin lake.

I'm a Northern California guy and I'll always will be. That said here's actually a few houses I'd love to have that are listed on James Edition:

First we will start off in Pebble Beach, CA. This is perhaps the most stunning house currently for sale in that area. 8,300 sqf listed at $22 million

Interior is a little out dated but that can be fixed.

This second house is just down the coast in Carmel-by-the-sea/ Carmel Highlands:

Nearly 7,600 sqf and only $9.95 million; what a bargain! That 5 car garage and huge courtyard would be perfect for Monterey Car Week.

And finally just north of San Francisco, this stunning house on Belvedere island:

This one is 9,500 sqf and listed at $15.5 million. Of the three listed I think I'd have this one; what a stunning house and location!

I too don't play by your rules. I saw this house 15 years ago from the beach in a park in Austin and decided I just had to see it up close (I love 2-story windows). Now the park was on one side of the river and the house was on the other... except the house was 700ft higher on the edge of a cliff. So I got out a map and figured out how to get to it. Line of sight from the park it was about 2000' away, but the drive to the front door was 28 miles. Boy was it worth it. When I got there, the front door had a huge sign on it, "SEIZED BY IRS," it was completely empty, and the front door was open. I took my time and walked the complete property. This is what you see from the park with a lot of zoom:

This is the front of the house:

And from google map satellite view 2 2 car garages on left and an RV garage on right:

House has been sold three times since I first saw it. On my last visit it was under major construction, but this was the final product:

Private Island home if I felt like being a Bond villain.

Kinja'd!!!

Otherwise something like this far away from the city.

Or something like this in Hawaii. I really like the somewhat Asian styling this house has, and have alawys been a big fan of Japanese architecture and styling.
