Because it totally applies to Virginia's lawmakers/police forces.
Here's a Tesla Model S P85D, a car that the Speed Nazis hate (probably), for clicking on this:

Strict/ridiculous speed laws are not equal to systematic genocide committed by the Nazis. It doesn't make for a good joke. It doesn't make for good hyperbole, it only diminishes the horror of what they did.

You're preaching to the choir. Just ask Patrick George.
But yeah, I had my license suspended for 60 days in Virgina. I was caught by speed traps three times in the space of one year, going 15 mph over the limit each time. And that's all it takes.

5 over in <45 zones, 8 over on the 55 zones, 12 over in 65+
Doesn't seem like much but it's the safest bet. They seriously are strict when it comes to speeding. But at least Va doesn't have speed cameras or mobile speed traps.

We hit a mobile speed trap while getting ready for the rally in Missouri (78 in a 55). It ended with my driver Troy in the police car. Not because he was getting arrested, but because after Troy explained we were speeding because we were trying to get to a tire shop that was going to close in 15 minutes the cop invited Troy into the front seat of the cop car and proceeded to try to sell him some tires. At the end of it all he got a verbal warning, the cell phone number of a local tire shop owner, and a good story for the bar that night.
Rally be crazy, yo.

that's lucky as hell. The only get out of a ticket experience I had was when 19 i got pulled over for crossing the center line too many times. It was a quiet back-ish road so no real danger. Officer asks if I had been drinking because I'd crossed the center line. I say nope, just driving with my knees trying to get the straw in my Dr pepper. Looks at me puzzled and says not to do that anymore.

Why so serious?
