Kinja'd!!!

After nearly four months of waiting, I completed my field day safety course. I can now purchase a hunting license and apply for an HQL

You need one of these *and* a blasting license to hunt with dynamite arrows, right?

I once went deer hunting in a 2003 rx-8. 3/10 would not recommend.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a pretty complicated process. As soon as duck season comes back, I'll be going with my pastor haha.

So they give you a patch with a target on it?

I got 4 with my old Wagoneer! 10/10 would recommend. soo much chrome, no damage. also Should note I did not mean to hit them, just soo many deer on the back roads where I grew up.

I did hunters safety for fire arms when I was 11 years old. I had to do one for archery last season (at 39), it was actually quite informative and a good refresher. I stick to deer and turkeys, but always get an elk tag just in case one wanders into range.

You can legally harvest road kill in Montana. If it's not dead just call the highway patrol they will finish it off for you while writing up your accident report.
