I don't know if you've been around long enough to remember NinetyQ. He had/has one of them. It was his first car. He had to put a new tranny in, still loved it to death.
Pretty slick looking if you ask me, but that is just me. I kind of like the mean look that they gave them. Euro-tuners have been trying to do something similar with varying results.

That EBay seller in general grossly overprices most of their cars.

I would agree, oddly. I've always liked the looks of 'em.

Crack Pipe. Even with less than 50k miles I wouldn't pay anywhere near that. I bought an '01 Grand Am GT with the 3.4 and 50k in '06 for barely more than that. It's just not worth it.

Too bad Fiero didn't last long enough...
The narrow GP headlights, and that cool blue metallic paint job would look great on a Fiero Formula Fastback.
And the 3.4 DOHC V6 with a 6-speed limited-slip transaxle would have made it quite a nice little mid-engined car...
(Pontiac never built those, but people have combined the GT's fastback aft quarter, with the Fiero Formula variant that doesn't have the GT and SE side skirt ground effects.)
However, a front-driver 2+2 coupe without a fastback hatch just doesn't quite do it for me.
I would own a 3rd or 4th-gen Pontiac Firebird Formula/TA/Firehawk in a similar color, though...

You are slowly being converted...your hatred of all things FWD is being converted...to...to love. Yes. Love. Soon, you will find yourself longing for a manual Gran Prix. You'll see previous generation northstars in traffic and gaze upon them with lust. A supercharged 3800 won't keep up with your GTO...just as that RWD V8 power can no longer keep you from the longings growing in your heart.
The time will come when you approach the dealership with a GTO to trade, and an out-of-date FWD W-Body will be waiting for you. Don't fight it when it comes for you, Joest. This path of V8 FWD madness is yours to walk. Yours alone.
