Nope, no earthquake in Brazil (at least, no strong ones).
I believe that was for a pipe maintenance or something, which by the end of the day they just covered it with gravel or something. Then, a massive rainstorm came and opened it.
By this morning it was already fixed.

Ah, I know that sometimes the city works people leave manhole covers open, but nothing like that without proper signage though.
