A surprising find on this side of the Atlantic. Have fun getting out of that parking spot…

Heh heh, awesome.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

there's a reason they're called bumpers.

That diesel should put out enough torque to slide those compacts easily enough.

That thing is so out of place there. Silly Euro cars being so small.

Parisians do park like Chicagoans, except we have huge vehicles more often that not.

I don't understand how people own cars in cities. No gives any fucks about repeatedly ramming cars in front and behind to get in and out of a parking spot. I'd just drive a beater all the time since everything is going to get beat up anyways. I once saw someone repeatedly bumping a 928 and I scowled at them pretty fiercely.

An immaculate, running Delta Diesel?
In Paris?
That is beyond awesome.

This is cool, but that is a TERRIBLE engine.

Looks like two microcars captured themselves an olds diesel.

There was an Olds diesel in exactly that color with exactly those hubcaps parked in a crowded lot behind a repair shop near my house for decades. I first noticed it sometime in the late '80s, when it still looked nearly new, and just kind of watched it gradually deteriorate over the next 25 years, until one day, the garage was sold and gutted for redevelopment and all the junk cars in back were cleared out.
I believe that's also the only Oldsmobile diesel I've seen in that same period of time, so I can't begin to imagine how rare this thing is in France and how much of a nightmare it must have been to keep running all this time.

I know right? I have literally never seen one in America. This was probably the last thing I was expecting to see in France. Certainly a commitment to operate one in Europe.

It's probably broken down waiting for a tow truck.

The hilarious thing is those guys who boxed it in probably thought they were being pretty clever.
I'll bet they change their minds when they come back and find that huge old chunk of iron has ripped their tin foil matchbox cars to shreds.
