So I finally had my first mishap of winter.....about 300' away from my house...dag-nabit. [my house is in the background]. I got too close to the snow bank while trying to pick up the mail.

Kinja'd!!!

I had to crawl over the passengers seat to get out. My neighbor even came out to help. I shoveled parts of her lawn to even get to the drive wheel. I went home and got [cold] ashes that I scooped the day before. I put the car in neutral and pushed. 15 minutes later, I finally got the car out. But it was a looong 15 minutes.

I'm pretty sure my neighbor enjoyed my sarcasm and pessimism too.

Glad you got it out. Now just watch for rogue Hummers.

Double ugh, I know. I thought DeMuro and I would be buddies, besties, bffs, pt cruiser Bros. We could of gone cruising together, running from the cops, making up secret hand shakes, drinking milkshakes, and visiting strip clubs.

*sigh*, I guess the cruiser was too good for him, that's why he killed it. I just pray it wasn't a GT, :p.

I can assure that it isn't. The car was a POS too.

You're not supposed to put any sarcasm on the "thanks a lot for your help" ;)

Ha, not to her, but about the general stupid-ness and awkwardness of my situation. Like a "come on, are you serious?" type of situation. She was laughing.

Yeah, i just watched the 'making of' video. He gave it the grisly death that it probably deserved.

Good news though! My car is still the best/only pt cruiser in the oppo fleet!

You still got off relatively lucky. My stepdad managed to get his car stuck in the woods when he went cross-country skiing last weekend. Took him an hour to shovel it out and he somehow managed to completely destroy one snow chain in the process.

you're right, I was. I had it way worst last year. I am thankful that this is my only mishap. It still was stupidly frustrating because I do the same routine every day. Lol

I love how they got rid of the white on blue plates because "they are too hard to read" and then they come out with this gem. You can't read it unless you're within 5 feet because the white letters just blend into the background.

Ah, don't worry. I'm one of the few who actually bothers cleaning their plate. So no one can see theirs anyways!

My brother's girlfriend has a purple PT Cruiser that she got from my grandparents. Close enough me thinks.

Actually I've always thought the GT was kind of cool. I would never kill one!!!

Doug, you are awesome, I knew it.

I will admit, I was secretly hoping that your next car was a pt cruiser. Simply to see if it was worth all the hate it gets. It probably does deserve it, but there is always pros and cons to any vehicle, right?
